S.H.I.E.L.D. PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION: 001. Tony Stark (“Iron Man”) Mr. Stark relies heavily on his reputation, and to a defining point has always performed this way. He finds a way to hide from his own identity by latching himself onto things he believes to be larger than himself; currently the alternate identity of Iron Man, and previously the legacy of his father. Stark uses this as a defense mechanism, because it allows him to become a performer in place of an individual, and the ability to transform a deep sense of self loathing into ingenuine narcissism.  He has made a masterful shell that makes him appear as confident, showy, and occassionally debacherous.  Since the incident of Mr. Stark’s kidnapping, this shell has gone through a notable metamorphisis. Previously his relationship with his late father seemed to control it, the strain between the two of them causing a duality in identity; him both attempting to be what he knew his father would detest, and simultaneously becoming eerily similar to his father in other ways. Yet, in what could be evaluated as a form of post traumatic stress, Stark has pulled himself into a third identity: Iron Man. Stark seems to have the mindset that Iron Man is a materialization of the goodness within him, something that he only found through his ordeal. It was only with the appearance of Iron Man that he began to rethink his career, and only within the suit that he seems comfortable showing his consideration for others. Stark’s way of doing this is almost dissociative, as when he is not in his suit he still displays the same behaviours which he did before his incident. When this previous mask appears, he puts on an anti-hero facade, becoming the opposite of Iron Man just as he did with his father. This is his mechanism for dealing with things or people which he admires, he mocks to show his affection. It is only when things are stripped down to business that this behaviour will drop.  In short, Tony Stark has a mind set full of detours and roadblocks. When he cares for something, he does so deeply, but he repels the thought of showing this. So instead he has a duality of both mocking the subject and trying to transform into it. He is a clear narcissist and is prone to self-destructive behaviours, but this is also accompained by a deep hatred of self-identity. It is only when he becomes another, when he is Iron Man, that he truly feels comfortable with himself.

They notice the smallest details within their materials, and this causes them to be both excellent students and employees. Dedicated and responsible, they crave things which can give them the satisfaction of doing. That is to say, if they are not being held responsible for something, they feel stagnate. Inspectors in the Ravenclaw house are not often outspoken people, instead focusing on other things, giving them quite the stoic appearance. ESFJ While not too average a type, Provider Ravenclaws are some of the sweetest individuals in existence. They have both a social and intellectual wisdom about them, and they use this to help others in their community. They feel it their duty to do this, because they are quite aware of their intelligence. While not boastful about it, they feel this was a gift given to them by nature, and therefore they must use it to make the lives of others more convenient.  ISFJ Protector Ravenclaws are very much into the mind set of tradition, and they tend to hold many things sacred. They are deeply into history, and think things must be preserved for future generations to know of. When someone disrespects these things, they can feel personally offended, and pull away from this person quickly. They are not the most social of people, much more into the material than the social aspect of life. To some, they may appear snobby or stand-offish. ENTP  Ravenclaws within this type are very innovative and interactive with others. They like to lend a hand in most situations, giving a fresh perspective on an old problem.
