Gryffindor
As a Gryffindor you are already energetic by your nature, so the idea of exercising and burning calories will not be a hard thing for you, so long as you aren’t thinking about breaking a sweat. The best thing for you to do is find ways to have fun while still working out, and that way you will be burning but won’t get bored doing so, and therefore disinterested. Try things like sports that may catch your fancy, or working out with a friend so you don’t actually see it as work. This will be the simple part of getting fit; the more difficult task at hand is proper diet, since as a Gryffindor you like to indulge. You don’t want to track your calorie counts as that is too stressful for you, so you may want to try filling your shelves with healthy treats, things that still satisfy your hunger but that you know when you buy them are nutritional. This will you will know previously that they are good for you and low on calories, and that way later on counting will not be necessary. Your best bet is to fluctuate with small snacks and small bouts of exercise throughout the day to stay fit and healthy.
Hufflepuff
Diet and exercise is unfortunately the most difficult for Hufflepuffs, but not impossible. Hufflepuffs love food and they love relaxation, so the idea of crashing dieting or exercising for hours is not something they would excel at, nor is it a healthy solution for them as it is out of their groove, and would ruin their kind disposition. Luckily due to the patience of a Hufflepuff, they can diet and exercise gradually. They can start out with something slow, counting calories down to somewhere around a 1,800 per day limit, and doing a few small exercises and stretches. Once they get used to this, they can begin shaving off more calories and doing more exercises, and as they do this pounds will gradually slide off and muscles will tone. Hufflepuffs should also tell people of their goals so they can notice results, and being complimented by others is something that will keep them feeling accomplished and motivated.
Ravenclaw
Since Ravenclaws are studious and on their toes, dieting is the easiest part of getting fit for them. They can track calories in their head and after a bit of getting used to it can very often guess how many calories a food contains. Their good judgement and self-control gives them ability to know what to eat and what to avoid, so they can lose pounds easily. The main problem for a Ravenclaw will be toning and exercise, as they would much rather be doing activities less strenuous, so the best way for them to do this easily is for them to first focus on their exercise plan when they do it, this will be difficult but after a few days they will be used to it, at which point they can go through this routine whilst letting their mind wander, which will keep them perfectly entertained while their unconsciously burning calories.
Slytherin
Dieting and fitness is easiest for Slytherins, as their ambition will drive them to get to their goal. Toning is the easiest part for the process for them, as they like the idea of having great strength, so they will want to build muscles and therefore feel empowered. Slytherins also enjoy some thrill and adrenaline in their system, so the best way for them to get some cardio is to go out into their world and find unique ways of exercising. Like a Gryffindor, Slytherins also like to indulge, but when they want something they will change their mindset to achieve it. So the way to diet and count calories for a Slytherin is to constantly remind themselves “I don’t need this, if I eat healthy I feel healthy.” and gradually they will believe this above any cravings they may have.
It would be per request of course (or I’d be here all day and night writing it), but if you find the idea at all interesting you can leave a request in my ask or reply to this.

Hogwarts House Psychoanalysis Pt.II : Combined Houses
Gryffinclaw
Gryffinclaws have the mental capacity to be a hero, in a sense. They are smart, daring and ready to take on whatever they can. Unfortunately, their emotions tend to take hold over their logic, and this can cause them to be easily disheartened. They want to believe that essentially, everyone is good, but their fairly cynical Ravenclaw side will often try to deny this, and with this plus their emotional front, they can hit a disastrous point of anger toward society and themselves. Gryffinclaws are dedicated, and while they have the ability to do so much more, they tend to focus themselves on one thing, deeming everything else as unimportant. They will do what needs to be done, but that does not mean they will like it. Gryffinclaws tend to enjoy conflict, if it is intellectual. They will debate day and night if you allow them to. Politicians, surgeons and philosophers are often Gryffinclaws.
Slytherdor
Slytherdors are always in a constant battle with themselves, a bit like an angel and a devil on each shoulder. They truly want to do what is proper for everyone around them, but at the same time they can be selfish and it will blind their view of what the people they love may need. Slytherdors believe that people have the capacity to be good, they just simply don’t care, instead taking and conquering what they can, and they are just fine with that, because they often blend into it themselves. The angel on their shoulder is begging that they try to make change in the world, but the devil is always egging them on to go for what they crave. This doesn’t mean they are wrong in their ways, in fact they are very quick-witted and ready to get things done. Slytherdors are extreme multitaskers and procrastinators, trying to accomplish several things at once and instead forgetting to do all of them. This can be seen as irresponsible to some, but Slytherdors tend to simply shrug it off. However, they do have a very short fuse, so watch what you say or they may go off. Many doctors, company executives and celebrities are Slytherdors.
Gryffinpuff
Gryffinpuffs could almost be said to have hearts of gold, as they see the good in each and every individual. They are very emotional people to the point that they at times do not even know what to do with themselves, instead just feeling the need to cry or scream. This is because their Gryffindor side wants to let out their emotion, but the Hufflepuff in them is too scared of what others would think. Gryffinpuffs are very happy-go-lucky and optimistic, ready to lend a helping hand wherever they may be needed. They are social butterflies, making friends easily. While they love to talk for hours, any negative comments they tend to take to heart, and their Hufflepuff side tends to stop them from speaking up about it, so instead they will wallow in self pity for possibly days. Gryffinpuffs are somewhat spacey and tend to be visual and auditory learners, meaning it may take them a bit before they fully understand something. This does not mean they are in anyway less smart, they are just patient enough to take their time to understand something completely. Many social workers, wedding and party planners and those who work with small children are Gryffinpuffs.
Ravenpuff
Ravenpuffs are constantly contradicting themselves, thinking they have done something completely right and then deciding it is absolutely awful the next minute. They do this with people as well, thinking that everyone is as they seem until their Ravenclaw side speaks up, and they begin to second guess every movement a person makes. Ravenpuffs tend to be quite shy, and if they talk to you they will be friendly; but make no mistake, they are analyzing every single move you make. Ravenpuffs are very academic and later on in life what one would call “work-a-holics” devoting themselves into whatever passion they may have. Ravenpuffs tend to be very creative, observing others and using it in their work. Ravenpuffs shudder at the idea of conflict, avoiding it anyway necessary, usually keeping to themselves to make sure it stays this way. Novelists, musicians and psychiatrists are often Ravenpuffs.
Slytherclaw
Slytherclaws are quick-witted to the point they are dangerous, always thinking and seeing every detail around them. Their cleverness and intelligence is a venomous combination, and they are very good in the art of persuasion and manipulation, and they make sure they always get what they want. That said, that doesn’t mean they are bad people, simply a bit spoiled in their nature and ready to get at any aspect of life they are thirsty for. Conflict is something that is beyond them and they tend to quickly shake off whoever may try to argue with them. If you insist, they can tear you to shreds so quickly you will not even know what happened. Slytherclaws are incredibly intelligent and use that in every aspect of their lives, never stopping to smell the roses. They are constantly driven, so make sure you don’t get in their way, they don’t care much for attachments. If they do care for you however, they will show this with the most protectiveness. Con artists, attorneys and those who work with the government are often Slytherclaws.
Slytherpuff
Slytherpuffs are an odd mix, and they are incredibly indecisive. They are ambitious and driven, but their shy Hufflepuff aspects can sometimes pull them away from what they want. They feel as though they dislike everyone, though they aren’t entirely sure why they do, and at times they can feel that they are an awful person because of this. Slytherpuffs are often angry at themselves for what they do or don’t say, and they are always biting their tongue. They are often quiet, but when they do speak up they say something that is worth your time. They avoid conflict the best they can, but if you insist upon it they will give you one hell of a debate. They are very dedicated to getting what they want, and if they will often stay away from people days at a time researching. They are not fans of social interaction. Painters, journalists and poets are often Slytherpuffs.
Please not this is simply my opinion and it is obviously not applicable to everyone in combined houses, just my assumptions. Please do not be offended by anything, it is not meant to be taken that way. Psychoanalysis of the singular houses are here. (x)

Hogwarts House Psychoanalysis
Gryffindor
True Gryffindors have a very strong sense of what is right and what is wrong, and this is a part of what gives them such strong opinions. Depending on the person, this may be taken to a Borderline degree, and they may see people as either good or evil, not in between and no chance of redemption for those on the darker sides of things. Alternately, Gryffindors may see all people as being initially good, and only making the wrong choices take the down the wrong road. Both of these behaviours are why Gryffindors and Slytherins can easily clash. Gryffindors are usually incredibly intelligent, but they tend to be slackers, more focused on getting a taste of something new than sticking to responsibility. This can be their downfall from success, or quite the opposite, bringing them a rise up into something they love. Once they find their true place in the world, Gryffindors will often use their accomplishments to the benefit of others in some form or fashion. Actors, singers and athletes can often be classified as Gryffindors. Despite their good intentions, they can also quite often be ill-tempered and overly emotional, which is their Achilles’ Heel in most instances. A darker Gryffindor may become out of control because of this, hurting those they love or holding a grudge for many years.
Hufflepuff
Essentially, Hufflepuffs see the world and their people as ultimately good, and only the darkness of the inevitable turning them away from what they think is right. Because of this, they tend to treat everyone fairly and with sympathy, trying to put themselves in the other person’s shoes before judging them, if they judge them at all. Hufflepuffs are almost always maternal or paternal types, ready to take care of anyone who may come to them. They are dedicated to what they do, and are very focused on making sure everything is done properly, leaving no room for error. Mostly, Hufflepuffs think what they do is right, and Ravenclaws who doubt them may annoy them, but Hufflepuffs hate conflict, so they tend to ignore their irritation. Hufflepuffs are very passive aggressive, doing little things subconsciously when someone makes them angry. This is usually the farthest they will go so far as revenge, as they rarely want to participate in any form of violence. Hufflepuffs are healers in nature, wishing to care to the needs of others. Many nurses, cooks, teachers or counselors are Hufflepuffs.
Ravenclaw
Intelligent and insightful, Ravenclaws are not ones to classify people under any certain category. Instead they often ponder on humanity, what is good, what is evil and why we should classify people as one or the other. Ravenclaws are very philosophical, and often you may see them simply staring off into space, but this is not in some brainless manner, in fact they are exploring the gears of their mind and trying to figure out how the world works. Ravenclaws are focused on their work, but they often don’t need effort. They tend to pick up on every detail and remember it without even trying, something that others may be skeptical of or be jealous of. This can give some a sense of superiority and the idea they should tell everyone the right way to do something, which can easily make others, especially nervous Hufflepuffs or emotional Gryffindors, very irritated. Ravenclaws are very analytic, and this can be very good or very bad. For the kind-hearted this will be a way to help others, for the dark they can use this to twist and manipulate. Ravenclaws are not every emotional, instead they tend to put up a wall and not let anyone in except for perhaps their closest friends or family. Instead they pick at the minds of others, trying to figure out how they work and to see if they themselves are different, or just the same as everyone else. Psychologists, professors and investigators are often Ravenclaws.
Slytherin
Slytherins have a more cynical view on the world, and believe that there is darkness in the hearts of all, some are just unwilling to accept it. They think anyone who doesn’t realize this is naive or perhaps even stupid, and because of this they can easily clash with Gryffindors or laugh at Hufflepuffs. This said, Slytherins are absolutely in no way evil, some are actually very good. They simply have a drive that carries their life, and if you get in their way you better watch out. Slytherins have an almost bloodthirsty craving for success, and if they don’t think they can achieve this then they can easily fall into a darker place of self-loathing and take this out on others. Love and accomplishment are the two things that mean the most to them, and they do not understand that the need for the latter can drive away the former, and when the feeling of pride fades or they fail at something, their possible lack of something dear and close to them can hit, and when it hits it hits hard. Slytherins are very emotional, however unlike Gryffindors they very rarely show it. Instead they bottle it up, using it in other ways, some of which may be artistic. Slytherins can very easily connect to art or music. Slytherins usually pick one subject they feel for and stick with it, rather than focusing on them all. This can be an issue academically, and some Slytherins may even drop out of school, but despite this their ambition will drive them to doing something they love, or they will have a downward spiral into depression. Lawyers, doctors and artists are often Slytherins.
This is simply based upon my opinion and obviously does not apply to everyone within every house. Do not take this too seriously as to get offended by anything I say. If you enjoy this and wish for me to analyze combined houses, like this post.
